Hassad established Aswaq as a subsidiary to operate and manage six integrated markets strategically located across the country in – Al Sailiya, Al Wakra, Umm Salal, Abu Nakhla, Al Khor and Al Ruwais – with the objective of enhancing food security for the State of Qatar.
A new website was designed and launched on 14th May 2026.
